I bought them for my computer but received them.

I bought this for my computer but I got memory errors. In one configuration my computer would not boot, in another it would boot but only saw a limited amount of memory. Even though I have the same nominal speed as the computer, when I was able to get into the BIOS I just reduced the memory speed and then all the memory is recognized and the memory test passes without errors. I would suggest buying one that is rated for speeds higher than what your system is expecting.

    Money was a $35 vs $55 difference

I was looking to buy memory and looked at Crucial. This memory was more expensive, so I tried APEX. I installed it on the machine and after setting the BIOS I was able to boot with the new memory. Did a memory test with Hirens. Passed the first test run. The memory was recognized as Hynix chips. This memory is used by many manufacturers. The machine has been running for over 24 hours without any problems. Seems like a good memory. Recommend.

So far, so good. 4 days and works reliably

Update: March 28, 2018 They are still working. I've had them for 4 days now. You are still working. As usual with memory cards, it was difficult to use properly. As soon as I put them down, the computer recognized them. I've been doing a lot of photo editing lately and I wanted more RAM. They seem to be doing their job. I bought 2 kits to upgrade my PC from 8GB to 16GB. My photo editing apps work better. This is one area where adding more RAM should improve performance. Don't expect your…

Keep an eye on the mix of manufacturers

I've been building PCs for over 30 years and have never mixed RAM sticks from different manufacturers. To upgrade an older i7-4790 system with 8GB of RAM, I ordered an 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 kit. I received two separately packaged 4GB sticks. Hm. They usually come in a pack of 2 sticks. Anyway, I put them on the motherboard and CPU-Z says one is from Nani and the other is from Kingston. Didn't expect that. Both are also quite old. Year of issue 2013 and 2014 respectively. Both are older than…

    Great for my purposes!

I have an old computer that I wanted to bring back to life to use as a Windows 10 system. plus the new SSD that brings the old 3rd Gen Intel system starts, stops and whips screens like no other now. It's not exactly premium storage for something like gaming. This is an old type of DDR3 memory with no error control or ECC. That's why they usually call it UDIMM for unregistered memory. I believe this means there is no parity bit for error checking. I think they say the same thing in a different…
