Just had 2 cataract operations and needed something to read my ipad mini in bed. Bought ThinOptics and thought there might be something a little better out there. I was wrong, there was something a lot better out there and these are it, hands down. The thin nose piece on the ThinOptics bothered my nose while this one has a very comfortable nose piece, a huge difference. I don't even know they are on. The plastic case the ThinOptics came in makes a lot of noise while inserting the specs. which is not good if your mate is sleeping. And these just have a great feel of quality. Find the right correction level and you will not look any further.
