Most of the key claims, like imported Japanese VG10 steel, are missing from the Kyoku website. but on amazon is that ok? Also, I have real damask knives and this is not one of them. However, the knife is comfortable to use, cuts well and is well balanced. The problem is that you can buy a professional non-damascus knife for the same price and own the "real deal". does it scratch easily? I feel excluded.
