I recently renovated our laundry room, probably the most used room in the house considering it connects to the garage. In doing so, we moved W and D further to one side of the wall, resulting in the original flex channel no longer "fitting". The outlet and exhaust ports were only a few centimeters apart. Searching here I was able to order this product and hook up the dehumidifier and device to the outlet port within minutes. I recommend checking the back of your dryer before throwing away a flexible hose, as the mounting ring was recessed under the back of the dryer panel, making it impossible to tighten with a wrench or screwdriver. I ended up cutting a 5 inch flexible hose and connected it to this unit and then to the dryer outlet.
