Review on Hosa GPR-104 1/4-Inch Female TS to RCA Male Adapter by Amber Davis

I was hopeful at first - they seem very heavy and strong and make a nice crisp click when you plug the cable in. But after just a few weeks of use in my speaker box, one of them has lost most of the tension holding the speaker wire and barely holding the 1/4 inch cable in place. The handle is light enough that the weight of the cable + vibration can cause it to fall out. I'm glad I noticed this as a disconnected cable can destroy my tube amp - if the load (speaker) is disconnected while playing, the amp can burn out the output transformer. I do not want to do that. At the risk of spending $4,000 on a cheap plug, I retired these plugs. I'm just going to use straight through speaker wire and remove the case from the wall.
