It seems very strange to me that there are separate reviews for each color of the same mouse. Apparently someone is trying to avoid putting all their reviews in one place. I have purchased over 20 of these Verbatum optical travel mice with retractable USB cable (Metro model) over the last few years. I'm the closest I can get to an expert on her performance. See my comments below: PROS - Small, ultra light - Great for carpal tunnel so I use it (light weight puts less pressure on my wrist moving it around all day) - Travel friendly and the retractable cord actually works pretty well and holds β As far as I can tell, it works well and is fairly accurate. CONS - Just one con, but it's an important one. This mouse is not durable. The maximum you will get from this is around 18 months of regular use. Since I travel a lot and use my laptop about 15 hours a day, it takes me about 10-12 months on average before it breaks. The cable is ok, no problem. The mouse just doesn't work anymore. You can recognize this by the fact that the red LED inside goes out. The mouse just doesn't work anymore. I keep buying them because I haven't found a better one yet and haven't had time to buy a few to try them out. Most other models will be larger than this and some will be smaller, this model is just the right size and weight for me.
