The voltage detection function is almost useless and only confirms the presence of voltage but does not tell the user the voltage in the form of readings. The device needs to be within inches of power to even know it's there. Temperatures aren't much better. I wish I had never bought this one. A simple single beam function to measure temperature would be much better and cheaper. Accuracy is difficult to determine. This value changes every time I measure an area for a few seconds, even though the area's conditions don't seem to change at all. I will buy another device that better suits my needs.
