Pretty but cheap

I bought these earrings to wear to my children's mother and son dance at school but was unable to wear them because the shank bent when I tried to make the use metal fasteners. Also, I was able to wear the earrings using the rubber pins, but the dangling "jewel" was not facing forward and was showing the back of the earring in the photos, so I gave up and put on something else.
