One star *Are you wondering why such a simple assembly is problematic for many but easy for others? Well obviously there are two different models and this little known fact doesn't seem to be information that the seller shared with the buyer. I seem to have received a problematic model that has two sides (left and right) but no back. If you watch the assembly video on this page you can see the differences. The "problem model" is a simple build up until you get to the last top shelf. The shelf is too big to slide and snap onto the side frame. To achieve this, some describe using a screwdriver to try to insert the hook into the sidebar by prying it further open. This requires a lot of force and there is a risk of damaging the rod or the weld. For some women, this snug fit can even cause their assembled model to suddenly fall apart due to the added stress of a forced fit. The WORKING model (as shown in the assembly video) is clearly easy to install and the final shelf slides together as it should and easily hooks onto the top sidebar. Note the OPTIONAL backing which can make a world of difference here as it holds the frame together more securely and is spaced correctly so all the shelves are evenly spaced for easy sliding. Is this a new improved model? WHY did the seller sell a faulty model when the reviews indicated that assembly was a common problem? Are you sure you know? I would not discuss this with the seller prior to purchase so that this information is clear and recorded. Of course I'm returning mine, but I'm disgusted that I'm wasting more than a minute of my time on this. I asked Deco Bros. about this and they said it's the only model they sell [two-sided model].
