Looks authentic. Will eat batteries.
They look real but I had my doubts about battery life even before I received them. Each needs 3 AA batteries. When I received it I put batteries in one of the blocks and after 24 hours the blinking red LED dimmed noticeably. I would be surprised if the LED stayed on for a week. So I installed them (mounting template included) which was easy but no batteries.
