Review on Efficient GE 16466 Under Cabinet Light Fixture: 18 Inch Warm White, Plug-in, Plastic Housing, Perfect for Kitchen, Office, Garage by Chad Chavez

I bought three of these to plant seeds indoors and to illuminate already growing plants. Some of my windows don't get enough light for plants or seeds to germinate. I have two 10 gallon tanks that were given to me that I put the pots in to start the seeds. The aquariums are used and without lighting. Aquarium lighting is too expensive. I was looking for a cheaper lighting solution. When I bought them the price was lower, now I see they are more expensive. I had two pieces of wood that I attached lights to and placed them over the aquariums. The third lamp I installed on the ceiling of my basement above the shelf with plants on the top shelf. The lights provide enough light for three plants in a one liter pot. Two more lights above the aquariums, a few seed pots have germinated and are two inches tall at the time of this review. The only complaint I have is how the headlights are mounted. They have holes that you put on the screws and then put the screws in the slots. The included screws are too small for the holes and slots. The ceiling mounted light sometimes pops out of the slots when I turn the light on or off. I connected the other two bulbs to the power switch, I unplug the extension cord to turn off the light. Once the headlights are installed I would recommend that you support the light with your hand as you turn it on and off. I have a lot of spare screws and couldn't find the right screw size, they were either too big or two too small for the holes and slots. Another complaint is the price, when I bought them they were less than $9 each. Thought to buy more will not buy overpriced again.
