This is better than I expected! First of all, I would say use this dimmer light bulb to properly adjust your pet's bathing area. Revain sells domes with built in dimmers that work great. The lamp shoots at a very focused point and also emits a lot of heat concentrated at that point. So it would be very easy to burn your pet if it wasn't calibrated with a dimmer. After setting the right intensity and measuring the temperature, it's amazing! The colors of my kites underneath look beautiful and natural. I don't have a UV meter so I can't check how much UV it puts out, but I've found that dragons like it better than the standard pet store heat lamp and dim under it to accept it, just like that just as they do when I take them outside in direct sunlight. I think it's a good sign that it gives them what they want. I will definitely buy more of these pears. I've been using them daily for a few weeks and they're still holding up. A few things that might help, never touch the bulb with bare fingers, it's cloth wrapped so you can screw it on without touching it. Using a dimmer can also make life easier as it doesn't work 100%. And third, since the light is installed so you don't have to move it to open the case, I have front doors so I never have to hit lights and move them, which can reduce lamp life. Excellent pears 👍🏼👍🏼
