The relays tab in the software is not supported for these HM type modules.
The module is great for basic communication with peripherals (e.g. Arduino) and you can use the onboard I/O in ATT mode (see instructions) but it would be very nice if the DSD Tech- Software would be further developed to support the relay tab (which seems to only support their BLE relay module) or to create a new PIO tab so you can control the 4 pin PIO output. It is necessary to solder wires to the module's PIO pins, but some of us would like to have this feature!
- Compatible with HM-10. Now using the HM-10 you can quickly upgrade the board to Bluetooth 5.0 BLE.
