Every time I paint I completely remove the blinds and fasteners. Unfortunately, this means I've always broken at least one, if not all, of the clips. I chose them because they were sturdier than the ones I had and less likely to break the next time I had to remove the fairing. Sure, the ones that broke were old and probably brittle with age, but they should still last longer. They weren't exactly the same shape as the ones I had, but they fit perfectly and are more durable than the narrow ones that came with the blinds. Make sure you measure your canopy as they are not all the same width. Glad I measured twice, otherwise I would have ordered 3" instead of 3-1/4". I will buy again if I end up needing more.
