Good slippers for active toddlers

We were delighted to purchase these slippers for my almost 3 year old. It is always on the move and socks are not suitable for our wooden floors as it is very slippery. Instead of wearing shoes all day, we wanted a pair of slippers that he can wear indoors. What I like best about them are the velcro straps because while he CAN take them off, the extra effort it takes keeps him from playing on and off all day. It has a hard sole that looks like plastic and I was a bit concerned about when I first saw it out of the box, but he said: that they are very comfortable, he can walk in them without slipping and they have not damaged the floor in any way. The only negative I would say (if you can consider it a negative at all, more FYI) is that the shoes seemed a bit small for us. My son is between 7 and 8 in regular toddler shoes. Eights leave a lot of extra wiggle room. I think the ones we ordered were an 8 or 8.5 and they fit him perfectly. In general very satisfied. Appears to be of good quality. Can't say anything about durability yet as we've only had it for a week. My son is between 7 and 8. Eights allow for lots of extra space. Pros
  • TRACTION CONTROL: The outsole of girls' and boys' slippers is designed for traction; Rubber soles allow for a slip-free walk
Cons
  • large and chunky
