Perfect size for my ViewSonic PJD5155 3300 Lumens SVGA HDMI Projector. Fits perfectly and offers plenty of space for cables, remote control etc. as well as shoulder strap, wrist strap and outside pocket. It also has a sliding sleeve that slips over the handles of your suitcase for easy travel. The sliding case has a zip at the bottom, so you can use it as an extra bag as well. There's not much padding other than two Velcro straps that fit nicely in front of the projector lens. However, I'm not sure how much padding he really needs. I will not ship it or put it in the hold of the plane. Favor a smaller body over bulky padding.
