I was really looking forward to using this stand. He arrived today. I'm not new to assembly and followed the instructions with the tools provided. Only 1 of the 4 bolts connecting the legs to the center carriage worked properly. The other three were either with the holes removed or with the heads removed and they were not fully tightened. As a result, the entire stand is wobbly and I'm not sure I can trust the stand to hold my laptop. And I can't disassemble it to send it back because the screws are stripped. So I think I'm stuck with a defective product. Update: fully assembled, the entire table leans to the side because the screws in the middle carriage have too much play. I leveled the shelves which caused the entire unit to sag even more. Two more screws - one of which was a height adjustment knob - were removed when I first put them in. So there is no "adjustable" function on my shelf! I have an entire house with furniture that I assembled. I have never experienced such poor quality.
