This really is the offer of the year. I paired a Topping D90 MQA DAC with VMPS RM-40 speakers that won a CES award in 2002. An Arcam AV processor and amplifier completed this. Only through Arcam did my FLAC music on the hard drive sound fuzzy. This is music my dog knows by heart, I've played it so many times. As soon as I added the D90, I started hearing music I'd never heard before. Every note and every breath was crystal clear. In Eva Cassidy's "Autumn Leaves" I felt like I had a front seat in the middle row. Then I switched to "Destiny" by The Crusaders, wow the soundstage was huge and deep. The piano played throughout the room, the mids and highs were prominent and not harsh. I was blown away by the clarity. I haven't tried streaming music, but I have no doubt it will be top notch. If you want to hear the music you thought you knew, the Topping D90 MQA DAC will make you love it even more.
