Review on ๐Ÿšฝ MAYFAIR ELONGATED Enameled 144CP Toilet Seat - Enhanced Durability by Andy Baudoin

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Updated 12/2020 - A problem has arisen over time.

Updated 12/2020 - There was an issue over time that caused me to change my rating from five to three stars. Seat cover not sticking. Also with a soft cloth, just with water, lightly wipe the surface and it will be covered with white paint again. at the inner edge there is no color in places, only dark black areas remain. It's much worse under the seat. a good quarter of the color on the underside was gone with commercially available bathroom cleaners. For this reason I can no longer recommend this product. First Review - Having an elongated, low-flow toilet in our home has been one of the best purchases we've ever made. The low-flow toilet was said to come with a cheap lid that was held in place with plastic "bolts". It only took about three years for these screws to loosen. The main reason we chose this is the metal studs and hinges that hold it in place. It looks good and feels good. Brushed metal also looks good. there are no manufacturing defects. It fits perfectly in our toilet. in place creates a beautiful triple tiered look. The toilet is furthest out, the lowest part of the seat is set back about 0.25" from that point, and the top cover is set back another 0.25" which I think looks beautiful. The only downside is the built-in bumpers. The depth is too shallow and too hard, again just my 2 cents. So I ordered a set of Danco 10062P toilet seat bumpers, white, 2 pack, they are less stiff and slightly higher than what came in the kit and give a nice consistent look from all angles. i read the stories here on amazon of people putting bumpers in their places so they eventually fall into the bowl? For extra care, I smeared the underside of each with a drop of superglue to prevent this from happening. very nice, very happy with this purchase.
