Never use this bagel toaster. If the bagels rise after toasting, they won't budge. So the toaster keeps toasting and you don't realize it until you see and smell the smoke and your bagels turn to burnt mush. This is a recipe for disaster and I can only imagine what would happen if you weren't there to stop the scorched chaos. I wouldn't trust it with a small child, but it's perfect for toast. The stop button doesn't work at all. So the auto-stop feature is a false statement. Whatever the price, stay away!
