The spring is too strong. In the softest position, the valve does not close properly. In a more rigid position, the valve will close but not open under vacuum. lets me chase my tail There are 2 o-rings, one on the bottom of the piston is too tight around the piston, it will catch on the piston. Difficult to open and then close. Dissatisfied customer.
