That's a great rate of return, and you get your money's worth. And what is it that you seek? It's typical of Intel to increase pricing over time. I've been using this marvel since 2009, and it has never failed me (though there have been moments), it doesn't run hot, and it can be overclocked to 3.8 GHz using just a "piece of aluminum." For the most part, the "hellish stoker" % gets by with a bang, given the nature of the work. I think 775 is a great option as 2 cores, but since some applications require 4 cores, I recommend upgrading to Quad. So, I'm happy with it.
