Bought this mainly for snowmobiling. That works great. It is intuitive to use. Many good Youtube videos demonstrate the functions. Once you become familiar with the basic functions, you can no longer get lost. I downloaded TrailmasterGPS maps for NH which worked fine in Montana. I've done a few bush walks with it and the backtrack feature also makes it impossible to get lost. Satellite detection is fast and the battery life (in 10 degree weather) was very good. 6 hours snowmobiling and I have half the battery left. I will be uploading ATV maps later this year and expect the same great performance. With Montana and a Garmin InReach satellite communicator, you won't be on I Shouldn't Be Alive anytime soon, if ever.
