Great GPS!: GPS, locators and accessories

Bought this mainly for snowmobiling. That works great. It is intuitive to use. Many good Youtube videos demonstrate the functions. Once you become familiar with the basic functions, you can no longer get lost. I downloaded TrailmasterGPS maps for NH which worked fine in Montana. I've done a few bush walks with it and the backtrack feature also makes it impossible to get lost. Like a unit. not Battery life

There are some really great reviews here. I suggest you read them. My review isn't as detailed as others, but I'd like to add my 2 cents. I have a lot more to "play" with the device. Maybe I can find a way to tweak some of the things I don't like. I haven't had the chance to use it much yet, but for the little that I've used it has done what I needed. more than I would like, but I can handle it. I like the screen size. Problem with polarized lenses

The only thing I have to compare it to is my old Etrex 20. The difference is day and night. Not a fair comparison at all. So far I have only 1 objection to Montana - the screen is polarized. I know it's supposed to reduce glare, but if you're wearing polarized sunglasses you have to keep them horizontal or they'll darken. I think most of the time I'll use it horizontally.
