I was a bit nervous when I bought it because it seemed too cheap despite the good reviews. However, the reviews are correct - this is a great little device. I bought this to replace my old Garmin Edge after it fell off the bike too many times and I'm very glad I did that instead of wasting 3-4 times on other products. It turns on quickly, snaps into place quickly, syncs seamlessly with my old heart rate strap, seems accurate as far as I can tell, has a bright screen that's relatively easy to read (more on that later), and looks good . solid construction (although I haven't tested the water resistance yet). Additionally, if like me you don't want to post information online, it was easy to import data into the outdated Golden Cheetah or Garmin Training Center software. My cons are minor - I'm not a fan of the way the mount attaches to the bike with O-rings. They were a little fiddly to stretch them far enough for my stem and while they were probably perfectly secure I would have preferred to have nylon zips holding them in place for security. While the display is legible, it's static; You can't navigate or change the display, at least I couldn't find a way to do that. So while speed is fairly quick and easy to see, the other data items are smaller, and if like me you need reading glasses for fine print, I wasn't able to see things like my speed or, more importantly, the time. It would be great to change what is shown or where or at what size. Finally, as mentioned, the manual that comes with the device can be difficult to understand and the instructions on the website, while much more complete, are also lacking in some respects. very solid device.
