We have cats and feed them wet food, so the plastic feeding dishes get dirty as the left-over bits dry. I use one of these spoons to scrape old bits from the dishes. The spoons are quite sturdy for that so far. This is done 3 times a day: in the morning the dishes from yesterday are scraped before they go into the dishwasher, later, the old bits are collected into an additional dish -- dried wet bits are like new dry cat food. Sometimes they eat it, sometimes not. Compared to other kitchen spoons used the same way, these appear to be lasting longer -- and we have 5 more to go through! I'd like to know what kind of wood is used . cheers, hotcold.
