Daily Pregnancy "Lux ". Prefer the lightness and smoothness of tummy oils to sticky tummy creams.

This is my third pregnancy and I have used this belly oil during all three pregnancies, alternating with Mama Mio belly massage during pregnancy. I've tried different oils and creams as well as cheaper pharmacy oils, but I keep going back to Belli Oil and Mama Mio Oil. Both have an herbal odor that my husband and colleagues notice, but they are not bad smells. In my experience, Belli oil is a thicker oil that spreads more smoothly and minimizes itching, while Mama Mio oil is a thinner, drier oil that feels cleaner but requires more product to cover. Both oils require time after application before they tighten. Both oils would stain my maternity clothes when I wasn't taking the time to get dressed—usually when I was in a rush to get to work. For me, each full pregnancy (each gained 65 pounds at 5ft 7" and weighed 125-130 pounds) required two to three bottles of oil. During my first pregnancy (at age 30) I had no stretch marks and no sagging skin. There was cellulite, but it went away with weight loss after childbirth. My second pregnancy (aged 32) had no stretch marks but a bit of "corrugated" skin on the lower abdomen, cellulite reappeared but didn't go away the second time with my postpartum weight loss My third pregnancy (aged 34) is ongoing but so far I haven't had any stretch marks or new loose skin.Being only one person I can't say to what extent the oil works or not but I can say that it has provided me with comfort throughout each pregnancy and kept my itching to a minimum. This was especially important to me as all my favorite maternity pants have full panels (so the fabric shrinks or chafes my skin throughout the day). The first two pregnancies were in the Midwest in a humid climate and my third pregnancy was on the West Coast in a dry climate and this belly oil has performed well in both climates.

Pros
  • 🤰 REDUCES THE APPEARANCE OF STRETCHING - Our Abdominal Oil uses gotu kola, a plant with powerful anti-scar and anti-stretch mark properties. It can naturally whiten spots on mom's tummy, breasts, buttocks and thighs.
