Review on Cambridge Professional Black Listed Electrical Equipment by Fred Griffin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

good tape but if you just want the best tape buy 3M.

Colors are important in electrical work. I stock at least 5 white, red, green, yellow and at least 10 black ribbons. I only buy high quality black 3M tape that stretches well and sticks well so it won't fall off and yes it's expensive but that's all I'll be using. Years of working as an electrician have taught me a lot. I rarely use other colors but always have them in my truck when needed. For these colored bands I use Cambridge. I just can't bring myself to buy ribbons at $3.99 a roll for colors I need but rarely use. It's not the same quality as 3M but the price is within my budget and 5 rolls lasts a year. I probably use 10 times more in black. This tape doesn't have the stretch like 3M and sticks well enough to get the job done. Interestingly, as other reviewers have pointed out, this Cambridge tape sticks to itself really well, so with multiple coats, use more than you need.
