Review on ⚙️ Fixcracked iPad 3 (2012) 9.7 inch Touch Screen Replacement Digitizer Glass Assembly (A1416 A1430 A1403) + Professional Tool Kit - Black by Adam Cummings

I recently broke the frame and glass of my Ipad 3. I wanted to fix it myself and came across this kit. My first warning: this repair is quite technical and will require some skill and patience. This included breaking the glass around the iPad body, carefully removing flimsy screws, disconnecting and reconnecting printed cables, peeling and reinstalling a screen protector (beware of dust), and possibly fixing any new problems you might have from breaking one create iPad. You can check out some helpful videos that show the process and I highly recommend checking them out. This kit contains almost everything you need to remove the broken glass and install a new one. I gave this product one star because it doesn't contain anything that will remove sticky residue from broken glass. You will need to thoroughly clean the frame of any adhesive so that the new glass will adhere to the iPad. I used slime and then some lens tissues to remove the dirt. Additionally, the instructions in this set are written in a 6-point font and are incredibly close together, making them difficult to read. However, I did appreciate the magnetic screwdriver (iPad screws are the size of eyeglass screws) and all the other tools were a useful feature during the repair process. My advice is to learn how to do it and take your time. There are many instances where haste or carelessness can ruin your iPad. So not for the faint hearted or those with TV remote control issues. Once you do this repair yourself, you will understand why repair shops charge so much to fix this iPad.
