Lifetime about 6 months

All these electric salt and pepper grinders fail after a while. Himalayan rock salt is too hard. Nothing for a grinder, but it wears out the gears and then they slip. Pepper didn't, so after a while I switched them. But after 6 months the salt shaker is worn out. I haven't found one yet that doesn't wear out after a few months.
