Lifetime about 6 months

All these electric salt and pepper grinders fail after a while. Himalayan rock salt is too hard. Nothing for a grinder, but it wears out the gears and then they slip. Pepper didn't, so after a while I switched them. But after 6 months the salt shaker is worn out. I haven't found one yet that doesn't wear out after a few months.

This product is like a cheap toy. I want a refund

The package arrived open but appeared unused. Brand new batteries installed correctly after several attempts. The spring into which the batteries are inserted and connected was poorly made. The general impression is that I have been betrayed. The product is made very cheaply. After struggling to put the batteries in, it still didn't work. I will try to return this item. DON'T BUY POORLY MADE.

Works intermittently

Unfortunately I assume the caps are fitted in a way that doesn't hold the battery contacts well and the shakers only work intermittently. I had to constantly take the covers off to set the batteries to work for a few seconds and then they would shut off again. If you're a big salt and pepper lover like me, you'll keep refilling them. I was very disappointed that they didn't work well. :(

I really like them. They are battery operated, making them easy to fill and use. We hosted a family dinner last weekend and these are the most popular dishes on our table.
