Works intermittently
Unfortunately I assume the caps are fitted in a way that doesn't hold the battery contacts well and the shakers only work intermittently. I had to constantly take the covers off to set the batteries to work for a few seconds and then they would shut off again. If you're a big salt and pepper lover like me, you'll keep refilling them. I was very disappointed that they didn't work well. :(
