Review on 🐹 Savic Habitat Cages: Perfect Homes for Gerbils and Hamsters by Jackie Chapman

This was the best I could find, shipped in the US, was a good size but took up less space and came with a transparent basket deeper litter is allowed. There are a few others in there, but this one gave me as much freedom as possible to remodel the interior as much as possible. The included ramps are way too long, but I knew that from other reviews. At first I bent them, but I ended up just removing them and adding cute wooden bridges that mice love to play on. There is enough space for toys and accessories, and after this photo I hung even more climbing stuff. I've put cardboard on the wire platforms since noticing that my mice avoid walking on the wire if possible, but I just use a small brush to pick up droppings and replace them when I clean the cage. Cleaning is also very easy, with the option to remove the panel entirely and set it aside. The only thing that really worries me is how durable the bin will be over time. Plastic looks brittle, so we pay special attention to cleaning it. Overall we and the mice love this cage and I have just ordered a second one for my kids mice.
