Review on MayDay by Jesse Spoja

This is a good place to start.- my review about MayDay

A good place to start. No where near perfect though. As a startup, I think they are off to a great start. However, if they want to grow, they must improve their CRM. Their current CRM is so slow and clunky. In addition, it requires so much training for new users to operate properly. I have asked numerous times to have their existing CRM integrated with our own and have never gotten a response. I like how you can easily add your own templates. If you do a little work yourself (and some time), you will quickly find many things you wish were different. For example, when adding a contact form, there is no way to make sure all required fields show up on the same page without creating an entirely separate template. Also, while editing any type of data, it seems impossible to delete individual rows or cells from a table, which would allow more space around them. Other than these minor annoyances, it works very well.

Pros
  • The ability to create custom business rules for each object makes this tool quite powerful.
  • Has all of the features found in most of the big-name products in the market today.
  • Great interface.
Cons
  • After reading through the manual, it becomes much easier to understand.
  • Tends to be expensive compared to other similar products.
