Please note I do not use the dash ring that comes with the kit. One is already installed and it is an animal that needs to be raised. It's a pretty good mount so far. Very adjustable how high you want. Obviously I'm using the dash mount and it's under the windshield. Feels pretty solid and don't worry about falling like other mounts. Easily adjustable. Holds my Samsung S21 with case with no problems. The legs are adjustable for larger phones and there is space in the middle for a charger. Has buttons on either side of the bottom half of the holder for unlocking. You only have to press one, not both, to open it.
