After freezing, the lids can hardly be removed from the tube. It has to be played with by holding it with a warm hand and then turning the lid and after a while it will spin. Even for an adult it is almost impossible to remove the lid. The lid is also the cup that the melted pop loop will fall into as you eat it and unless you hold it straight and down it will splatter onto your clothes. A real cracker will let you lick the stick as it runs down the stick, but that's not possible with these. In fact, it's impossible to pull out the last part of the pop cycle unless you pry it out of the lid with your fingers. I threw them away and ordered long narrow ziplock bags of stickless frozen pop sticks.
