More often than not, I find myself wishing I hadn't made the purchase; however, I now know that "neck" headphones (which have a battery on the neck) are the way to go. Distinct benefits: useful as a backup or replacement. Easy to use right before drifting off to sleep. have excellent signal pickup. hold the battery securely enough, but how it performs in subfreezing temperatures is unclear. New disadvantages include a subpar microphone. Awful ear plugs, or ear pads. Painful ear shell. There is no way to select a different song. not good for music listening. If you have two devices paired together, switching between them can be a hassle. Sometimes one ear can settle in a bit more quickly than the other. A bulky case that protrudes from every pocket, making it unclear how to transport it. I haven't tried it yet, but if anyone is curious they can get in touch with me and I'll run and jump and reveal all.
