Fits perfectly on my Homeline 125A subpanel

As mentioned before this locking plate fits perfectly on my Homeline 125A subpanel that I have installed. Note that the circuit breaker for the external generator MUST be installed in the top two slots on the right; according to instructions.

Validation failed and had to be removed

Validation failed as they are illegal unless listed or lab tested. In principle, if you have a problem with this product, your insurance company will not cover anything. The support information they provide with the product results in unanswered calls/emails.

DO your homework before installing!

The product does what it promises. I warn you right away, the instructions are not 100% correct! In the instructions, the lock plate is the same width as the switch. They adjust the setup accordingly. The actual panel they sent was much wider than the switch and didn't work as they instructed you during the installation process!

A very durable and well thought out product. Worth the price.

Easy to install. The instructions were accurate. Works as intended. Complete sentence. better than trying to build your own and much more user friendly. Some people say they can just cut a piece of sheet metal into the shape they want, then drill holes and attach screws. It may technically work, but it is a high quality, professional and durable product. costs money.

Works well and is an economical choice.

Saves money although it's quite expensive for the price, it actually does what it says on the tin and effectively implements a safer and cheaper way to securely and coded connect a generator to a switch box. An alternative is a manual switch and a separate set of circuit breakers. The product itself is well made, accurately cut, properly marked and not just a stamped piece of sheet metal. I would recommend this product to my friends and family.

Very simple but functional lockout kit

I chose this lockout kit because the manufacturer provided dimensions that allowed me to confirm that it was for my Square D panel. I bought it to connect a power generator to my house. The attached image shows the content. It includes everything you need for installation, even a drill, zip ties and mounting glue. The installation guide is very clear and includes pictures to simplify the installation process. I highly recommend this product.

Does a good job though

The switch lock works great, easy to install and has good instructions but I was a little disappointed with the tags or decals. The instruction decal could have been much larger and bolder in color. Anyway, the door is really the only place you can put it, but almost all panels have a lot of writing or factory signage on them, so the little decal you get is lost in the whole. If you don't care about stickers, then this product is 5 stars. FYI, all other locks are the same for stickers. So if…
