Overall these COMENOLE winter gloves are very good, but you should know what you're getting. If you're looking for thin, tight-fitting gloves that allow you to operate all of your phone's functions, then these gloves aren't for you. However, if you're looking for warm, insulated and slightly less bulky gloves that let you swipe and select items on a touchscreen, then these will do the trick. The gloves arrived in a large size so I asked my husband to try them on. He said they fit true to size and feel like they can handle very cold weather. But they don't feel as thick and clunky as his usual winter gloves. They have 3M Thinsulate, which reduces bulk and should withstand temperatures as low as -30 degrees Fahrenheit. My husband also loves the soft fleece lining. He found that they are fairly breathable and hands don't sweat. In addition, they are waterproof and have wrist cuffs that prevent wind from entering the sleeves. My husband tried using the glove's index fingers on his phone and was happy to see he could swipe and select items. Gloves really can't handle typing on a regular phone screen, but could probably get the job done if the touchpad were made bigger and wider. My husband said that he can use the index finger function to answer calls, make outgoing calls to speed dial contacts, and even select app icons without having to take his gloves off. He said they would be great to wear during the cold winter months, especially when you need to make and take calls outside.
