I really wanted a file system that would look good in my living room and also be portable so I could take it to meetings and conferences. This product would have been perfect for that if it hadn't arrived with two major flaws and a small packaging issue. See attached photos. The first thing I noticed was missing one of the four plastic plugs on the bottom that were used to keep the box stable when wheels weren't being used. Not a big deal since I use wheels. You simply unscrew the stopper and screw the wheel tight. The wheel did not screw in where the missing stopper was, which would explain the absence, but should have given the manufacturer warning signals that there was a defect. At that point I knew I wasn't going to leave this item behind but kept collecting it to see if I needed a replacement. I then added the metal bars that hold the suspension files. The holes in the first one were hard to get to, but I was able to stretch it out and was glad it was fighting hard so it wouldn't fall out so easily. I was ready to add the next bar. Here I encountered my second serious deficiency. The round hole that should have been in the bar has been smashed. This band is not available. Then I noticed that the top metal parts were poorly welded and could easily scratch or even cut someone. So I guess we have a third big mistake. Finally, you can see that there is a loose strand at the top. Without other defects I may be able to fix it, but for $69.99 you would expect it to be defect free. I love the look and the concept so I'll order another one and see if it's worth the money. Will be updated after delivery.
