Review on ๐Ÿช Easy Flyer Butterfly Kite - Large Size (47" X 91.5") with 300 Ft 30lb Test String and Winder by Bohyun Hansen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

a worthy starter kite that can give the little one a lot of fun.

We bought this for our son a year ago who was 2.5 at the time. I was a bit skeptical at first because of the relatively high price ($25 as of June 2013) and opted for the cheaper In Breeze Rainbow Diamond Kite, 30-inch. However, it was a very disappointing experience: no luck getting on the air. After this failure, I wanted to try this one and pay almost double the price. The kite is easy to set up and looks pretty decent. Can't say this is a top of the line professional kite but a great start for a toddler. Most high-end kites cost more and accessories such as the tail and rope are not included. This model has both cord and tail, making it significantly cheaper than these kites, despite being twice the price of the base kites. We were able to get it airborne immediately with almost no difficulty, and the balance was fine despite the strong turbulent wind. We only had a nose jump or two and it was a smooth flight. For those unsure if the accompanying line is enough, I can say that if you don't send your stuff to the moon, it's more than enough. The handle could be better as loosening and pulling back can sometimes create awkward knots, and a round design with double-sided handles would be better. But if you're a beginner like me and only after that can please your kids every few years, I wouldn't pay extra and buy a separate string. and wind patterns. I think it's worth the extra cost compared to the cheaper base models. But kite enthusiasts might find this a bit limiting.
