Need a 2.5 amp 12v or larger Power adapter to get full 3.5 HDD speed

SSD functions at maximum speed. TB3 port immediately detected the device when it was attached and removed it when eject device was selected. Quality of build appears to be extremely good at this price point.USB-C and a 12V port were the main reasons for buying this product. With a usb-c to usb-a adapter it can be used on any USB3, 4, x2 etc, or TB3/TB4 port.To get full speed from a 3.5 inch drive it is necessary to use a 2.5 Amp 12 Volt adapter. I used a 2.0 amp and got very good speeds but 2.5 amps would be necessary to get full speed from a 3.5 inch drive.
