quality control ? for power tool parts and accessories

Although they looked good, upon closer inspection I saw that the 1/2 inch diameter welds were very porous in the carbide/shaft joint area, see image. The smaller bits in the set were better, unfortunately you get what you pay for. I'll try smaller ones, but I won't even try 1/2 inch.
