My great-nephew was afraid of this, so I think it could be better promoted to young people. First, the sound is muted every time you turn on the light. There is no way to just turn on the light. It's going to be ANNOYINGLY FAST, and if the kid doesn't like the sound, then it's a waste of money. Second, the on/off switch is tiny. Little hands can't operate it alone. Once on, you use your mouth to turn it on and off, but the power button is actually tiny and hard to see/find. They decided to keep the item but I probably would have returned it if I could have opened it before giving it away. Maybe this is normal for older children.
