This little tree comes fully assembled, complete with lights and decorations. It's great for a tabletop in a small apartment or on a dresser in a guest room or bedroom. Just take it out of the box and shape the branches. You will need 4 AA batteries for the lights. The controls are easy to navigate and the directions are right on the battery box. There are several settings for the light display (all of the lights are white LEDs.) I like on and off best, but there are also chase, twinkle, and fade settings. My only quibble is with the box. It's really cheap pulpy cardboard. You probably won't be able to get it back in there for storage. It's small enough to fit in a zipper bag, though. That's what I'm going to do.A very nice solution to seasonal decoration for smaller spaces.
