This summer I decided to do something different with our bedding. I don't usually wear white blankets or sheets. I don't mind if it's white, but solid white tends to show everything. Well I decided to make sheets in light and bright colors but wanted 1 duvet for the color I chose so I broke down and bought a plain white duvet. By design, it works so well. The blanket arrived in plain vacuum sealed packaging. As soon as I opened it it immediately started fluffing but still had a few creases. There's absolutely nothing unusual about this, so I tossed it in the dryer on low heat for 10 minutes and that saved the wrinkles. The blanket is made of microfiber. It is very soft and breathable. Not only does it get very hot here, it also gets very warm for me personally. I often sleep with just a sheet or no blanket at all. I still take this blanket off at night sometimes, but my husband sleeps in it all night. None of us wake up sweaty or unwell. In summer it is rare to find a blanket to sleep on. I thought it would be nice if it had loops all the way around. Actually, you can use it as a mattress topper. Easy to wash. Simply wash separately in cold water and tumble dry low. Do not iron. It will come out with no wrinkles. We've been washing it once a week for a few months now. He survived as expected. We are very happy with this blanket. It's soft, comfortable, versatile and we can use it all year round.
