Convenient and accurate power supply

This device meets my need for a regulated power supply. I have several fixed output power supplies that I have used with my ham radio gear but needed a variable power supply. Initially, the physical format was exactly what I was looking for. It's small (4.2 x 2.7 x 2.4 inches) but the display is big enough to be easy to read. The case has side protrusions so it can be installed in a box or cabinet without any mounting hardware. The connector is correctly positioned so it is very easy to connect. It has many options for setting the output voltage and current. Setting these parameters is quite simple and can be done quickly. There is a button to turn on or off the output of this device. The input voltage can range from 6 to 55 VDC and the output voltage can range from 0 to 50 VDC. You can read about the rest of the parameters in the announcement above. If the DC/DC converter is used to charge a battery or as a capacitive load, it must be connected in series with the diode, otherwise the module will be damaged. A power diode is included in the kit for this purpose. Below are some of the measurements I recorded. Input voltage = 18.8 V DC actual. The load was a 10 ohm, 1%, 5 watt resistor. Test 1: Output is set to 9.10 VDC. @ 1.0 A. : Output set to 5.00 VDC. at 1.0 A. Measured output: 4.99 VDC. Current at 0.491 A on the device display and 4.94 V DC. Electricity on a separate meter. Test 3: Output set to 2.50 VDC. MeterTest 4: Output set to 8.00 Vdc at 0.40 A (dc) Measured output: 4.07 Vdc at 0.40 A on meter display and 4.00 Vdc on a separate meter. Test 5: Output set to 8.00 VDC at 0.50 A (for DC current) Measured output: 5.08 VDC at 0.50 A on device display and 5.01 VDC. Electricity on a separate meter. Test 6: Output set to 8.00 VDC. @ 1.0 A (DC) Measured Output: 7.98 VDC current at 0.78 A on the instrument display and 7.96 VDC. and the current can be adjusted to give the desired results more accurately. I was very happy with his performance.
