Review on Tripp Lite Inverter Compact PV150 by Eddie Rivas

Complete silence so I bought this. No fan. So nice to travel without the annoying fan like my previous inverter. I use it for a 15.6" laptop with relatively low power consumption and to charge portable devices like gaming handhelds, tablets and phones, so I don't have to use DC chargers. Note that the 300W unit has a fan, according to other reviewers. I received a 150W unit without a fan. Nice and calm. Barely heats up with a 15.6-inch dual-core laptop, playing movies, charging 2 phones, charging 2 portable gaming systems at the same time. Only has 1 outlet but I use a short 6 inch backlit power strip along with a multiplier or power strip for more devices. The power switch is easy to turn off, so I use a lighted 6" power strip so I can easily look down and see it's still on.
