ATTENTION that the 3.5mm jack on this adapter may have a quality control issue.

Something is wrong with the 3.5mm jack on this adapter. My Rode VideoMic Me works great with my phone but when I plug it all the way into this adapter the audio doesn't work. When I pull the Rode VideoMic out of the adapter for about 1 click it works but is about to shut down. At the moment I find the ones I have unsuitable for my purposes. Some of these could be a quality control issue as I found several others online having the same issue. Now I don't have 50 dollars :(.
