At first I wasn't sure if I would like this pillow. Since it was firmer than any other pillow I've ever used, I wasn't sure I could adjust. My shoulder area seemed to hurt after the first few days of use but within a week this was gone. Now my head sinks nicely into the pillow and supports my neck quite well. I sleep on both my back and my side and both positions work well with this pillow. I would not recommend this pillow for stomach sleepers. With this pillow, heat is not a problem for me. It doesn't have a cooling factor but it keeps my head from sweating. I would recommend trying the pillow and see if it works for you.
